Guide for sponsors
Keep it free for everyone. Be known for it.
Sponsors pay for what makes a community event possible, so attendees never pay. In return, your logo and your name stand beside something your community values.
What it means to be a sponsor
You support one event at a level you choose. Each event's page lists its sponsor levels, what each includes and how many places there are. Sponsors are thanked, never sold to and never asked to sell.
- You choose the event and the level
- Your logo appears where your level includes it
- You are thanked as a community leader
- Attendee details stay with iCaria
Why sponsor
Trust you cannot buy with ads
Families remember who kept their event free. Your logo beside "Made possible by" says you invest in them.
Seen by the right people
The people who come are local families looking for practical help, the very people your services are for.
Stand with other leaders
You join the businesses and organisations that build the community, and you meet them.
Found all year, not just on the day
With a free partner account, families can find and request your services on iCaria any day.
How sponsoring works
The same steps for every event. Each event's page has its own levels and dates.
- 1
Step 1
Choose an event and a level
Read the event's sponsor levels and choose the one that fits. You can say which part you would most like to support.
- 2
Step 2
Apply in two minutes
Use the Sponsor tab on the event's Take part page. We reply within two working days.
- 3
Step 3
Letter, invoice and logo
We send a short sponsor letter and an invoice, and ask for your logo and one line about what you help with.
- 4
Before and on the day
Thanked where your level includes it
Depending on your level, your logo appears on the event page and in the emails attendees receive, and you are thanked at the opening.
Prepare in three steps
Before the event
- Send your logo: PNG or SVG, transparent background, the wide version, at least 600 pixels across.
- Write one plain line about what you help with, for example "Family law in Arabic and English".
- Share the event with your customers and community using your invitation link.
- Consider sending a speaker from your team who can teach a topic, not sell a service.
On the day
- Attend. Being there says more than any logo.
- Ask a good question in a session that touches your field.
- Meet the other leaders when the event offers a partners' get-together.
After
- Create or complete your free partner account, so families can reach you.
- Tell your customers you helped make it happen.
- Tell us what you would like to support next time.

Being seen without selling
The most effective sponsors never pitch. They show up as people who care about the community, and let that do the work.
- 1Your logo is a quiet signal of trust: let it speak.
- 2Your one line says what you help with, not what you charge.
- 3A team member who teaches a session builds more trust than any banner.
- 4A free, useful resource, such as a checklist, is remembered and passed on.
- 5Families who want your help can ask for an introduction through iCaria.
Good practice
Do
- Choose a level you are proud of, then tell people
- Send a clean logo that reads well when small
- Share the event widely with your link
- Show up and take part
- Join iCaria as a partner so families can find you
What sponsorship does not include
- Time on stage to sell
- Attendee lists or contact details
- Exclusivity over other businesses
- Political, advocacy-campaign or sectarian sponsorship
Be easy to find all year: join as a partner
A free iCaria partner account puts your services where families look for help every day, not only on event day. Families can find you, ask for an introduction and request what you offer, and you can follow your community event activity in your partner portal.
Questions from sponsors
How much does sponsorship cost?
Each event sets its own levels and prices, shown on its Take part page with what each level includes and how many places there are.
Where will my logo appear?
Depending on your level: on the event page, in the emails attendees receive, and in the thank-you at the opening. The event page lists exactly what each level includes.
Can I speak or sell at the event?
Sponsors are thanked, not given time to sell. Someone from your team can apply to speak like anyone else, and teach a topic rather than a service.
Will I receive the attendee list?
No. Attendee details stay with iCaria. Families who want your help can ask for an introduction.
Can I support one part of the event?
You can tell us which part you would most like to support, such as one track or one session. It is a preference; the level and its price stay the same.
Who can sponsor?
Local businesses and organisations that serve the community. We do not accept political, advocacy-campaign or sectarian sponsors.
Why should I also create a partner account?
So families can find you and reach you every day, not only during the event. It is free, and it links your sponsorship to your profile.
Ready to make it possible?
Choose a level on the next event's page. We reply within two working days.
