Service options
Pick the ones that matter for your parent when you book. You can choose several, and you can change them next time.
A fresh breakfast, lunch or dinner cooked on the day
Batch cooking and portioning for the freezer
Cooking together, side by side, if your parent still enjoys it
Meals matched to diabetic, low-sodium, halal, kosher or vegetarian needs
Cultural and family recipes cooked the way your parent remembers
Kitchen left clean and dishes done
Leftovers labelled and dated in the fridge
Not every provider offers every option. Once you have chosen, we show you the vetted providers near your parent who offer what you picked, best matches first, with the iCaria Certified badge shown where it has been earned. Which one comes is always your decision, and you can keep asking for the same person.
Who this is for
Parents who have started skipping meals, living on toast and tea, or who find standing at a stove tiring or unsafe.
Good to know
Groceries are not included in the price. Your parent's helper can shop first if you add a grocery run to the same booking.
What it costs
This service starts at $35 in Canadian dollars, which covers getting there and the first part of the visit. Longer visits add a set charge for each extra 15 minutes, with a cap. A short visit is never charged more than the starting price.
That is a sample. Your parent's real price depends on their area and on the options you choose for the service, and you see it in the platform before you confirm anything.
Families also include these in their care plan
Most families do not book one service on its own. They build a monthly care plan, a few services on a regular rhythm, so their parent knows what to expect and the same trusted people keep coming back.
